The Gunsmith Series – the immersive new collection from Vincent Kamp

Vincent Kamp’s intense figurative realism originates in an urban subculture rich in tension and drama, and his evocative, narrative portraits are built on the assumption that society will always identify with rebels and outlaws. With The Gunsmith Series, Kamp has given us a collection of 10 mesmerising original paintings based on his own story of a high stakes deal that ends badly. He brings together a cast of heroes, anti-heroes and the women who stand by or double cross them, in a classic noir tale conceived and created by an artist like no other.
The Gunsmith Series will be on show at Clarendon Fine Art in Birmingham, 15th February-1st March 2023.
